4 - spicy, peppery and hot. Mmm. After reviewing the hotter version of this and hearing feedback from Ian on this one I’ve revised this one’s score to 4. Ian thinks it deserves 5. I need to try it again myself. Dylski

2.5 - a bit tasteless for my liking although it’s not a bad chicken soup. The soup finishes with a sprinkling of sweet goji berries which is a great suprise. Dylski

4 - tasty chicken noodle soup with a hot and peppery flavour, which came as a suprise because the packaging was rather uninspiring (bar the intriguing dripping sachet) and there was no English description or instructions. Dylski

4 - great spicy soup with lots of tasty seaweed that gives it the edge when it comes to depth of flavour and breadth in texture. Dylski

4 - a firey-red soup with taste to match. Heat starts off on a good footing; remains fairly consistent throughout; and then builds to a crescendo without getting too hot, leaving your mouth zinging and a little numb. Dylski

2 - started off quite good with a healthy dollop of toasted sesame oil, giving a great aroma, and the soup powder providing a pleasant seaweed-like flavour. Ended up becomining a little samey and too salty though. Dylski

3 - The sachet contents, which give out an impressive aroma, make a decent clear beefy soup. Much credit probably due to the tallow content; beefy flavouring being just one of its wonderful qualities. Dylski

4 - spicy, beefy soup with reasonable hotness and decent non-fried (air-dried) noodles. Vegetables aren’t purely cosmetic -you can actually bite and taste them! Also worth getting just for the English ‘feature list’ wording on the back. Dylski

1.5 - pretty bland salty seaweed flavour soup but with chunky flat noodles. Scores that extra half point because it was very tasty with added Tom Yam paste. So I guess that makes it an excellent base; which is not much of a compliment. Although MSG-free, there’s enough salt in these to fill your daily quota. Dylski

3.5 - Good peppery hotness and full bodied kimchi flavour with rather chunky and chewy noodles. Despite no MSG they manage to pack in 89% of you daily sodium levels which is impressive by anyone’s standards. Dylski
