4.5 - great combination of favours make this Vietnamese soup yummy. Super space-food sachet of stewed chicken completes the soup. Dylski

2 - a bit bland with a hint of sea water. Did have a couple of dried prawns in though. Dylski

3 - teddy bear seafood slices! Whatever follows is just waffle. Good selection of vegetables; the mushrooms a particular bonus. Soup that fairly generic red peppery stuff but not overly hot. Dylski

2 - pretty tasty and sporting never-seen-before-on-instant-noodle-review nothing less than ‘straight’ rice noodles with a good firm texture. Taste-wise these were a slight improvement on Mama’s Pad Thai noodles; but considering Mama’s are similarly sized (possibly larger), with three sachets and less than a quarter of the cost, these have been marked down considerably. Dylski.

4 - mama done good again. This one packs an interesting colour and flavour into a rather small portion of noodle soup (the soup dimension making these more filling than the similarly-sized Pad Thai version). The soup was vibrant red-pink (British Indian Restaurant Tandoori Chicken colour if that means anything to you) with a slightly sweet and sour flavour. Could have done with more. Dylski.

1 - didn’t live up to their exciting ‘kung fu’ name: too soft, no structure and lacking in power. Bland. Dylski

4 - small portion of tastetastic noodleness. Lemongrass with a slightly sour tom yam favouring. Yum. Dylski

4 - a great start to 2009! No overpowering spices or heat in this one. The flavour more reminiscent of a crab and sweetcorn soup. The rice noodles were also a treat, unlike any others, with a pasta-like texture. Dylski

4 - great tasting beefy hot and sour soup noodles. Sort of tom yam but beefy not fishy and not fiercely hot either. Dylski.

3 - surprising tasty as relatively bland chicken soup-like flavours go. Could have been pork flavour though. Hard to tell really. Dylski

3 - a lightly spiced chicken soup with a little sachet of gloopy chicken fat. Mmm. Maybe a little too much MSG. Dylski
